I haven’t started decorating for Halloween just yet, but I did just revamp my daughter’s Olivia birthday party wreath into an easy Halloween wreath! Do you make a new wreath every year or redo what you have?
My hubby’s been trying to throw away this in the garage for months, Ha!
I took everything off the Olivia themed one and left the white boa which is wrapped around the wood wreath form.
First I made this image with www.picmonkey.com,
and painted the little wood frame black. These light weight frames are at Michael’s.
I added some spiders I already had and the crow is from Michael’s.
Everything is attached with E6000 glue, (except the boa and bow) and I moved the feathers back a little so it’s glued to the wood wreath.
I had this scrap piece of black and cream fabric and ironed in the sides in really well after cutting a long piece. Then I just hand stitched the ends together after looping it around the wreath, so it could hang. The bow I had from my Halloween wreath last year.
Not bad for a fast little Halloween project, right? and I saved the party wreath from the trash 🙂
